May 24, 2025 - Brooklyn FC vs. Carolina Ascent FC (USL Super League)

Brooklyn FC’s inaugural USL Super League season came to a close on Saturday afternoon, May 24, with a home match against Carolina Ascent FC at Maimonides Park on Coney Island—our first and only visit to the venue during the spring campaign. Entering the contest winless against the Players’ Shield winners (0-1-2) and having been outscored 8–1 across their previous meetings, BKFC needed a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Despite holding Carolina to a scoreless draw and earning a clean sheet, the result eliminated Brooklyn from postseason contention. They finished the season in sixth place with 39 points (10-9-9) and a goal differential of -4.

Carolina went on to defeat Dallas Trinity in their final regular season match to secure a league-best 48 points (13-9-6), but their campaign ended in the Super League Playoff semifinal with a 2–1 loss to Fort Lauderdale United.
