Fresh off a remarkable 3-2 debut victory away at Pacific FC in their first-ever match, Canadian Premier League newcomers FC Supra du Québec returned for their inaugural home opener at a chilly, sold-out CEPSUM Stadium. A packed crowd of 4,965 fans brought high energy from the opening whistle to welcome the league's newest franchise as they hosted defending CPL champions Atlético Ottawa.
Both teams came out firing, trading five shots within the opening 10 minutes before the pace settled down, ultimately sending the sides into halftime locked in a scoreless draw. The second half remained locked in a stalemate until the final moments of stoppage time, when Atléti’s Tyr Duahney-Walker converted a late set piece to steal a victory. The goal secured Ottawa's first win of the season and broke the hearts of the home crowd, spoiling Supra’s historic opener.
